Ken Tracy:I began recovering old-growth wood as a teenager, working alongside my dad in the woods of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. For more than 25 years now, I’ve worked in about every aspect of this niche industry. Recovering this incredible resource for beautiful and practical uses is my passion. I oversee production, sales and new project development. When not hard at work on the hillsides, I can be found hard at play in the outdoors with my family!
Nathan Donahue:I’ve been recovering old-growth cedar for shingle, shake and specialty product manufacture since high school. I have a BA in Geography and Natural Resource Management from Western Washington University and specialize in production, training and contract management. After hours, you’ll frequently find my wife, Kristin, and me snowboarding down majestic Mount Baker or tinkering on the custom Glacier, WA home that we are detailing with our premium recovered cedar and fir.
Lauren Tracy:I joined Ken and Nathan in 2008 to help manage business expansion, marketing and project/fund development. I have a BS in Marine Biology, Masters Degree in Public Administration and certificates in Environmental Studies and Project Management. An outdoor enthusiast, my favorite playtime activities include kayaking with my husband, Ken, and snowboarding with our kids.
Kristin Donahue:I provide marketing and project development technical support. I have 11 years of experience with editing some of the most trafficked online sites. From Seattle University, I have a B.A. in Liberal Studies, with a Minor in Psychology. If I’m not working I’m with my husband, Nate, enjoying our new home or out playing with him, friends and family, in the mountains that surround it.
